June 18, 2015 - We have an immediate opening for an experienced commercial litigation attorney familiar with working in a fast paced atmosphere. This skilled attorney needs experience in complex commercial litigation and should be capable of independently managing all aspects of the litigation process from filing responsive pleadings, conducting written discovery, taking and defending oral depositions, preparing dispositive motions, participating in oral hearings. July 9, 2015 - We have an immediate opening for an experienced commercial litigation paralegal familiar with working in a fast paced atmosphere. This paralegal will have trial experience and needs experience in complex commercial litigation and should be capable of assisting attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process from filing responsive pleadings, conducting written discovery, taking and defending oral depositions, preparing dispositive motions, participating in oral hearings. Please provide salary requirements. An incomplete application will not be considered.

We consider applicants for Associate and Law Clerk positions who are interested in Estate Planning, and probate law. All positions are for career opportunities in our Houston office. Minimum requirements for all positions:

1. 2L’s, 3L’s, and licensed Associates only;
2. Journal experience required;
3. Strong interest in estate planning, probate, or real estate law; and
4. Completion of a basic and advanced course work in wills and trusts, probate, estate planning, or real property transactions

Additional considerations:

1. The successful candidate will be prompt, professional, and detail oriented. Prior work experience is a plus. CPA or accounting background is a bonus.
2. While not a primary factor, grades and class rank are considered, with top 25% preferred.
